Start and stop
Create a server, pick Paper or Purpur, set RAM, start. Stop also closes a leftover Java process on that port.
0.2.1 Beta · free for everyone
PanelMC is a native Windows and Linux panel. Create a Paper or Purpur server, install from Modrinth and SpigotMC, and open a Playit tunnel from the same window. No monthly host. No account.
Start, stop, console, live player count, and timed backups on your PC. F11 fills the screen. Plugins and mods come from Modrinth and SpigotMC.
Create a server, pick Paper or Purpur, set RAM, start. Stop also closes a leftover Java process on that port.
Live log that follows the bottom until someone scrolls up. Commands go to the server stdin.
See who is online and the count, plus ops and whitelist. Uptime starts when PanelMC sees the server up. F11 fills the window; Esc leaves fullscreen.
Zip on disk, or every 30 minutes, 1 hour, or 6 hours while the server is running. PanelMC sends save-all first and keeps the last 5 automatic zips. A warning shows when free disk is under 2 GB.
Search both catalogs inside PanelMC and install the file straight into the server folder. Paper and Purpur get SpigotMC plugins. Fabric gets Modrinth mods.
RAM, gamemode, resource pack, timezone. Java can be downloaded into runtimes/ from the Java tab.
Windows .exe or Linux file from GitHub Releases. Linux: chmod +x, then run it on a desktop session.
The app fetches the JAR. If Java is missing, it can be installed from the Java tab.
Start the server. Same network uses the LAN address. For the internet, start Playit from the Access tab and point its TCP tunnel at 127.0.0.1 and your port.
Free, GPLv3, for every Windows 10+ or Linux x86_64 PC. File names always follow the latest GitHub Release.
chmod +x panelmc-linux-x86_64 ./panelmc-linux-x86_64

No. The layout is similar on purpose. There is no link to Aternos, Mojang, Microsoft, or PaperMC. They host in the cloud. This starts a server on the computer where the app is installed.
The Linux file is a real x86_64 ELF, built on Ubuntu 22.04 in GitHub Actions. Open it on a Linux desktop to confirm that distro’s libraries.
Windows 10+ or Linux, 64-bit x86. The panel is kept small so the Java server can use most of the RAM. CPUs without SSE4.2 or AVX are still supported.
Worlds, plugins, config: servers/. Downloaded JDKs: runtimes/. Those folders stay on that computer and should not be committed to git.
Not a first-class target yet. Windows and Linux are.
GNU GPLv3. Distributing PanelMC or a modified copy means the corresponding source stays GPLv3. Running it to host a world does not GPL that world, plugins, or Minecraft.
The blue window is expected. PanelMC is not signed with a paid code certificate yet, so Windows does not know the publisher. More info, then Run anyway. The file is still the one from the GitHub Release.
Same Wi-Fi uses the LAN address on the server screen. For outside the house, open the Access tab, start Playit, then create a TCP tunnel on playit.gg aimed at 127.0.0.1 and the server port. A Cloudflare SRV record is there too if you already have a hostname.
